PM = Product Multiplier = A numeric multipler such as 2, 3.5 or 10 times the BP.
MM = Member Multiplier = A numeric multipler such as 2, 3.5, or 10 times the BP
assigned to individual members based on customer levels.
These MM will change in accordance with your customer levels.
Active member: A registered C&L member who satisfies all of the following conditions :
A C&L account with valid (active) e-mail address.
Initialization Period (Feb 5 - 28, 2003)
To kick off our C&L Rewards Program, all registered C&L Members will receive the accelerated
MM assignment for orders placed during the initialization period.

How to Earn C&L Points?
As an active member, you automatically earn C&L Points every time you purchase an eligible product
from C&L Internet Club.
Each eligible product has an associated BP, roughly equals to the dollar value
of that product, as well as a PM specific to that product.
Each C&L Member has a personal MM that can increase your points earned on eligible purchases.
Points earned on a particular item is the product of these 3 multiplicand.
Points Earned on an item = (BP)*(PM)*(MM)
Points are credited to your account at the time of invoice. You can accelerate your points
accumulation by purchasing items with higher PM.
How To Redeem C&L Points?
It's easy to redeem your C&L Points. Just put the items you want to redeem into your shopping cart
and checkout as usual. If you have sufficient points to redeem ALL the items on the checkout screen, then
you can select the "Pay with Rewards Points" option.
Out of stock items and new releases less than 7 days old are not redeemable by reward points.
Bonus:
If you are redeeming more than 10,000 points on a single transaction, then your
shipment qualifies for FREE shipping/handling, up to a maximum of $13.28
non-refundable shipping credit.
Otherwise, regular shipping charges will be billed to your credit card.
Effective Jan 1, 2004, reward points redemptions will be accepted
on-line only.
C&L Rewards program Rules and Policies (The Fine Print)
- Any person participating in, receiving points or benefits from the C&L Rewards
program is considered to be a "C&L Member" and therefore, must have established a valid account
with C&L InterNet club.
- Only active members with both ship-to and sold-to address in Canada may redeem reward points.
- Reward points are earned and redeemable by end consumers only. Dealers, wholesalers or resellers
do not qualify.
- Points and benefits are non-transferable and may not be accrued to/or redeemed by
any other members in any way.
- Members may only redeem points that have been credited to their own account. Valid
photo identification may be required for any redemption.
- There are no implied benefits of the Rewards Program other than those published or
posted by C&L from time to time.
- C&L reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel the Rewards Program and these
Rules and Policies, in its whole, at any time and from time to time, with or without
prior notice.
- Members with no purchase activity for 180 consecutive days or more will automatically
forfeit all of their acumulated points without compensation.
- Rewards Program does not apply to :
- orders placed prior to Feb 5,2003.
- purchases made prior to Feb 5, 2003.
- purchases made through an Account belonging to anyone other than the person making
the purchase.
- purchases that are cancelled or refunded.
- purchases not made under the member account.
- purchases not account for by C&L for any reason, including, but not limited to,
misused of account, computer equipment malfunction and/or C&L employee error.
- terminated account or account that remain inactive for 180 consecutive days or more.
- C&L assumes no liability except for the calculation and redemption of properly
accumulated points in accordance with these Rules and Policies. C&L reserves the right
to adjust point balances, as a result of operational errors or system malfunctions.
- Points are accumulated as per the formula stated in "How to Earn C&L Points section".
- Points have no cash value.
- Barring further extension, all C&L points will expire at the close of business on
Feb 28, 2007.
- If any of the Rules and Policies are determined by a court to contrary, such rules
and policies will be read with such changes as are required to make them comply
with such applicable law.
